We developed some low cost interactive science related kiosks that display variety of information and provoke curiosity of the visitors at the science exhibition!
Background
We developed Low cost kiosks for science exhibitions to provide interactive experience to visitors. The system involved illuminated panels, with an LCD and a button array below for user to press. Each of these kiosks have a different theme like Energy from Food, Energy consumed by common household appliances, Energy consumed by doing various activities.
On pressing a button the panel is illuminated in the display and an LCD screen shows various information about the topic chosen. This system can be further enabled to play out recorded voice messages in all Indian languages necessary using our tech!

This project was developed for an NGO which is into building Scientific Exhibitions, Museums and upgrade Science Demonstration infrastructure in schools called Deenabandhu. As part of an Energy themed Science Museum they were setting up this exhibit was developed by Ideas Unlimited, Mysuru.
Deenabandhu is a charitable Non-Profit Organization located in Chamarajnagar. Deenabandhu works towards the education and rehabilitation of orphan, destitute and estranged children. The trust is also into Science, innovation and teaching Science to school children and other activities.

Although this version developed had a key pad, an LCD to display information along with speaker playing music on various events, it can be further enhanced with multi-lingual speech capabilities with tech available in our lab.
